I was born on July 16, 1948 at Upper Tract, West Virginia to Mervin and Velma Kimble. I attended Upper Tract Elementary School and Franklin High School. I graduated in 1966.

My interests are Country Music, Alan Jackson is my favorite singer, Nascar, Dale Earnhardt was my favorite driver, and Webtv. I like making webpages.

In July, 1963 I met Benny Scott. We dated for 3 years and got married on June 9, 1966. He left for the Viet Nam War four days later. While he was fighting in the war I gave birth to our first son. I named him Benny, Jr. Benny came home from the war in June, 1967. Three years later, July, 1970, I gave birth to our second son, John Wesley. I thought our family was complete but five years later, August, 1975, I gave birth to our first daughter, Stephanie Jo. Now our family was complete.

Then the grandchildren came. Kelsey Lynne was born on March 9. 1991 to my oldest son and his wife Aimee. Then Kelley Renee was born to them on October 15, 1993. John Wesley, Jr. (J.W.) was born to my second son and his wife, Elizabeth on February 17, 1994. Timothy Ronald was born on February 22, 2001 to my daughter and her husband, Richie.

My jobs have included being a waitress, a cashier, a teachers' aide and a shoemaker. I worked at Hanover Shoe in Franklin, WV from January, 1981 until January, 2000. They closed their doors in January, 2000, because they can make shoes cheaper overseas.

I am going to Computer Classes now. I really enjoy them. My classes will be over in May, 2001 then I will be job hunting.

My daughter bought this webbie in February, 1999. She found this group in June, 1999. She showed it to me and I took over. She moved out and left me the webbie. I started posting with this group in August, 1999 and I must say it is the best NG on the web. I have found lots and lots of friends.
